How to check if a form has been marked as Externally Lodged

Question

How can I tell if a form has been marked as lodged or if it has been actually lodged?

Answer

There are a few ways to tell the difference between a form being marked as Externally Lodged and if it has been actually lodged. 

1. Navigate to Menu > Corporate Messenger > Lodgements > Lodged/Completed > select the Company Name to open the Collaborations Page
2. Check the wording in the green lodgement banner. Where it says "ASIC has provided you with the following document number: 1ABC23456 for your reference.", if there is a document number this is a sign the form has been successfully lodged.
   If there wording shows with no document number  "ASIC has provided you with the following document number: for your reference." this is a sign the form has been marked as Externally Lodged.
   
   
3. Another area to check is the Documents Available within the Collaborations page. A successful lodgement will show a PDF labelled "Company Name - Validation Report Accepted.pdf".
   While a form marked as Externally Lodged will not show this document.
   
   

Note: The validation report will only appear once ASIC have received the lodgement and returned the accepted validation back to NowInfinity.
