Rejection error : Item 08o// V491 Changes and cessations to member details must match the existing details on ASIC's record. The member does not exist on ASCOT
This rejection can occur for the following changes:
- This error occurs when there is an issue with how the name of the Director has been entered with ASIC. - - This type of error usually happens if the Director is using more than 2 words for their given name/s.
- ASIC accepts spaces in any of the above names, however EDGE protocol does not accept spaces in the first name. Therefore NowInfinity forms will not allow spaces in first name fields.
Suggestions:
- Read more about the name format validations accepted by ASIC here.
- If the individual was appointed through ASIC, with a space in their first name, there are limitations within EDGE to lodge forms with names in such formats. In such cases, the form may need to be lodged directly with ASIC.
