Rejection error: V381 - This address is different to the current alternative address
This rejection can occur for the following reasons:
- V381 This person's address may only be changed using a form 379.
This address is different to the current alternative address
- The person who is changing the address, previously requested their address to be suppressed, and provided an alternative address to be used. The address that they wanted to use under this company, is different from the alternative address that they provided during the suppression.
Suggestions:
- If the client wants to update their address and keep their address hidden/suppressed, a Form 379 should be prepared and lodged to ASIC either via email or post.
- If the client wants to update their address and no longer wants to keep their address hidden/suppressed, a form 484 can be lodged by providing the alternative address recorded via ASIC. If there is no recollection of the alternative address via ASIC records, you will need to contact ASIC directly to confirm.
