Why are Company profiles no longer refreshing automatically, when this used to be a feature?
Answer
ASIC informed us that their services were experiencing slowdowns due to significant load on their systems. To support ASIC and alleviate this load, we have reduced the frequency of RA71 requests.
As one of the largest Digital Service Providers (DSP) using ASIC's EDGE services, we play a material role in the overall demand on their systems. By reducing the RA71 requests, we can assist in alleviating the load on ASIC’s systems so that priority forms can lodge in a timely manner and improve overall service reliability.
We made an important update that NowInfinity no longer generates the nightly RA71 Data Download for Companies.
You can still manually send RA71 requests to update your company profile as needed. Please click here for more information.
Importantly, the automated profile refresh, following successful lodgement of an ASIC Form, will not be impacted. To ensure your company information is up to date, you may manually refresh the company profile at any time.
