What is the difference between "E-mail" and "Electronic Signing" tabs on an Annual Statement Profile?

Question

What is the difference between "E-mail" and "Electronic Signing" tabs on an Annual Statement Profile?

Answer

E-mail

If the Annual Statement was sent via the "E-mail" tab, the recipient will receive the document pack as attachments with no option to sign the documents online.

The "Pay Debt Now" button will be available within the email.

If the "Pay Debt Now" button is clicked, you will be taken to the ASIC payment page to make the payment to ASIC directly.

The recipient will be able to see who was CC'd in the E-mail.

Electronic Signing

If the Annual Statement was sent via the "Electronic Signing" tab, the recipient will receive the email with a "View Documents Online" button, where the recipient can click this button to review the documents for signing. There will also be a "Pay Debt Now" button within the email for the recipient to make the payment to ASIC.

Please note: If the Annual statement was sent via the "Electronic Signing" tab, there will be no documents attached in the email. The documents can be found by clicking on the "View Documents Online" button. Anyone who was CC'd in this email will not be shown.
