I have received an Annual Statement for a Not-for-Profit entity, and the invoice has a $0 debt, is this correct?
Answer
Yes, Registered Entities under the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Act 2012 are not required to pay GST, taxes, fees or charges. An Annual Statement however, will still be issued each year.
