Question
What is an Annual Statement?
Answer
An Annual Statement is a comprehensive report of a Company's activities throughout the preceding year.
Annual Statement's are intended to give Shareholders information about the Company's activities and financial performance.
Each year, all Companies receive an Annual Statement on the annual review date, (which in most cases is on the anniversary of the Company's date of incorporation).
The Annual Statement package includes:
- Current information from the ASIC register about the Company.
- ASIC invoice for the Company’s annual review fee.
NowInfinity also provide a Solvency Resolution (or 'Minutes' depending on your settings) and the option to customise the Annual Statement cover letter.
Note: Officeholders are required to sign Annual Statements within 2 months from the Annual Statement issue date by ASIC. If the Officeholder signs prior to ASIC issuing the Annual Statement, this may not be technically accurate, as it is signed within the previous years timeframe. For further clarification, it is recommended to contact ASIC directly.
