How to Check if a Document Was Impacted by the E-Signing Issue

Question

How to Check if a Document Was Impacted by the E-Signing Issue?

Answer

Note: This issue was limited to platform's detection of the signing status and did not affect the signing process or the validity of any signatures applied to the envelope.

Follow these steps to identify if a form or document has been e-signed by your client between the impacted period of 7pm (AEST) Friday 28/08/2026 and 10:30am (AEST) Monday 31/08/2026.

  1. Navigate to the identified form:
    • Menu > Corporate Messenger > Lodgements
    • Menu > Documents > Completed Documents
  2. Download the signing envelope per Downloading partially signed documents sent via Electronic Signing
  3. Open the file "Signing Summary.pdf"
  4. Review the "Signed" timestamp found under the "Signer events" section.
  5. If any "Signed" timestamps are between 7pm (AEST) Friday 28/08/2026 and 10:30am (AEST) Monday 31/08/2026, the platform may not have recorded the signing event.

If any forms or documents has been identified as impacted, please email info@nowinfinity.com.au and include a list of:

  • The entity the document relates to
  • The document type (e.g. Form 484C3, Standard Company registration, SMSF Establishment)
  • For ASIC lodgements: The due date of the lodgement
