(Note: The guidance below relates to Corporate Messenger accounts with Managing Transactions module activated)
Question
How can I edit details within a transaction that are displayed incorrectly?
Answer
To edit the details of a transaction navigate to Menu > Corporate Messenger > Companies > Company Profile > Share Summary.
1. To view the underlying transactions and to access the edit buttons select the blue plus symbol for the shareholding you wish to edit.
2. Next to the specific transaction, select the pencil icon. This will allow you to edit the following fields:
- Transaction Date
- Total Amount Paid
- Total Amount Unpaid
- Certificate Number
3. In this example the paid value is being changed from $1 paid to $1.33 paid. Edit the Total Amount Paid field to the new value > Save Changes.
Once saved the below message will appear. If this does not appear it may mean the changes have not been saved, it is recommended to refresh your page and review the Share Summary page to confirm if the changes have been saved.
4. After the above message has displayed refresh your webpage and review the Share Summary page. The updated information should now be displaying.
