How to edit a Transaction

(Note: The guidance below relates to Corporate Messenger accounts with Managing Transactions module activated)

Question

How can I correct details within a transaction that are displayed incorrectly?

Answer

To correct the details of a transaction navigate to Menu > Corporate Messenger > Companies > open the Company Profile > Share Transactions.

1. Next to the specific transaction, select the pencil icon. This will allow you to edit the following fields:

  • Transaction Date
  • Quantity
  • Certificate Number
  • Total Amount Paid
  • Total Amount Unpaid

2. Once the appropriate corrections have been made > select the tick icon to temporarily save the changes.

3. The Preview button can be used to review how the changes will apply to the Member Holding Balance table before they are saved.

Note: Should the changes made not appear within the preview as expected the Revert button can be used to revert the changes before they are saved.

4. Select Save Changes to save and apply the changes to both the Transactions Table and the linked parcels within the Member Holding Balance table under the Share Summary page.2026-05-08_15h14_451.png

5. Once saved the below message will appear.

6. After the above message has displayed both the Share Transactions and Share Summary pages should automatically refresh to reflect the updated information.
