Form 492 enhancement

The wording in the interview form has been refined to improve overall clarity.
Amendment details box:
- Users can now use the enter key to include line space between text to improve flow of the details;
- Additionally, in cases where the text exceeds the available space on the actual Form 492, the entire text will now be seamlessly transferred to an annexure for better organisation and readability.

ASIC Forms and Signing Date

A new ‘Date of Signature’ field has been integrated into the collaboration page. This field allows users to input the date on which the ASIC form was signed by the authorised officeholder.

Electronic Signature Workflow: For forms signed electronically via the NowInfinity platform, the date of signature would be automatically recorded. This eliminates the need for users to manually input the signing date, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the lodgement process.
Manual (Paper) Signature Workflow: In the case of manually signed (paper) forms, users are required to manually enter the date of signature in the designated field at the time of lodging the form.
The 'Date of Signature’ field includes some validations for the date entered, please refer to the Help Centre article for further guidance.
The ‘Date of Signature’ field is marked as mandatory, emphasising the importance of including this information for ASIC form submissions.

SMSF Change of Name and SMSF Change of Trustee

The interview forms include a reminder to notify the ATO of the changes via the different methods available (e.g. online, phone etc)

Legal review tier “Scoped” added in SMSF Deed of Variation

The “Scoped” legal review provides an additional tier for the SMSF Deed of Variation with the legal services provider ensuring that the correct clause numbers, parties and changes are reflected in the generated documents and comply with the relevant provisions of the Deed.

Fixes and Enhancements

Blank page no longer appears when using “Online Editor” feature to edit a document.
Update in the drop-down list of Documents to Generate for public companies for Form 484s – The dropdown list functionality has been updated, allowing public companies to now effectively appoint officeholders
Contact person in Form 484 to be the same as the contact person in the lodged Form 362. If Form 484 was prepared together with Form 362.
An error message when applying for ABN via the ABN/TFN integration has been fixed.
