New and expanded documents

Division 7A Loan Agreement and Drawdown Acknowledgement

You can now prepare compliant Division 7A documents for a wider range of client structures, including partnerships and sole-director companies, without stepping outside NowInfinity.

  • Partnership borrowers: the Div7A document for Partnerships is now a single agreement. Enter the partnership’s ABN and NowInfinity validates it and fills in the partnership name for you (still editable), so the parties are captured accurately to validate it and fill in the partnership name automatically; you can still edit the name. Every partner signs the document at no added cost.
  • Handle larger, more complex arrangements: in response to feedback, now add up to six individual borrowers, up to six individual trustees or partners (up from four) so that multi-party family and investment structures fit in a single document.
  • Sole director companies without a secretary: if a sole director isn’t also the secretary, the form now asks whether the company has a secretary. If it doesn’t, the execution block states “This Company has no company secretary.” This applies to the lender and to every company-type borrower.
  • Director limit for company borrowers: company borrowers, corporate trustees and corporate partners now take up to two directors, down from eight.
  • Loan type: the Drawdown Acknowledgement now records whether the loan is secured or unsecured.
  • Generated documents: the cover page, parties and execution blocks now match the lender and borrower combination you select, and the cover letter labels the Lender and Borrower.

Paper signing

  • Undo paper signing: if an incorrect signed document is uploaded, you can now fix it yourself instead of contacting Support. On the Collaboration page, expand the Paper Signing section and select Undo Signing. This removes the uploaded document, clears the signed date and returns the document to “Waiting for signature” status. You can then sign it again using the e-signing or paper signing options.

Undo Signing is only available for paper-signed documents. It isn’t available for e-signed documents, or for forms that have already been lodged with ASIC. If an incorrect document was uploaded for a lodged form, contact NowInfinity Support.

E-signing

  • Draw signature by default: Signatories will now be taken directly to the Draw tab when adopting their signature, aligning with ASIC's preference for drawn signatures. The Style and Upload options remain available for all forms and templated documents

Fixes and enhancements

Class Integration option in SMSF documents

  • Previously, some on-demand documents didn’t show the Class Integration option in the interview form, even when the account was connected to Class, so details had to be entered manually. The Class integration now appears in the SMSF Holding Trust (Bare Trust), Trustee Consent and Member Application, Change of Fund Name, Cash Contribution and In-Specie Contribution documents.
