Partner API: expanded to Pension and SMSF Establishment Documents
- You can now generate a wider range of SMSF establishment documents directly: forms for Individual Trustee and Special Purpose Corporate Trustee structures, Binding Death Benefit Nominations, Investment Strategy documents, and Pension Establishment documents, to get access you will need Partner level access.
- Details are validated automatically, and the completed drafts appear in Saved Documents ready for review, cutting down manual processing and duplicate data entry. Further info on NowInfinity Partner APIs is available here.
Director ID flyer now available
- The latest ASIC Director ID flyer is now available alongside your client’s Annual Statement documents, in the documents available section.
- This is an early notice: from 1 July 2027, a director ID will need to be provided to ASIC when Company details are updated, NowInfinity plans to support this update; we'll share details as they're confirmed.
Fixes and enhancements
- Unit holder allotments with decimal units – We've fixed an issue where a unit holder would fail to be added to the allotment table if the number of units included a decimal value, for example 1.00. The unit holder previously appeared in the timeline view but was missing from the allotment table; this now works correctly.
- Trust profile vesting status – We've fixed an issue where a trust's profile status changed to "Vested" as soon as a vesting document was created, even before it had been signed. The status now only changes to "Vested" once the vesting document has been signed.
- Company registration document amendments – We've fixed an issue where the "Amend the Document" button remained available after a company registration document had been sent for e-signing. The button is no longer available once a document has been sent for signature, so the signed document always matches what your client received.
- Annual Statement cover letter – We've fixed an issue where background colours set in an uploaded cover letter template were not reflected in the PDF generated for Annual Statements. Background colours now display correctly.
- Reminder message when marking documents as signed – The "Mark as Signed" pop-up in Completed Documents now shows a reminder relevant to the document type: trust documents prompt you to check the commencement date on the Schedule page, fund documents (SMSF DOE, ROPS, Holding Trust) prompt you to check the Date of Deed, and company or constitution upgrade documents prompt you to insert the date on the last page of the Constitution.
Identity and Verification (ID&V) emails – ID&V request emails sent to clients have been updated. The subject line now shows your account name instead of the requester's name, and the email body has been rewritten to explain the regulatory requirement, name GBG as the verification provider, list accepted Australian ID documents (driver's licence, passport, Medicare card) and give an estimated 3 to 4 minute completion time along with link expiry details (28 days, or 7 days when a biometric check is required).
