Documentation Suite

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality legal documents and expanding our legal capabilities to meet the demands of our fast-growing client base, we have made further updates to the following documents and services:

• • To assist with determining whether a document is right for you, we have added document descriptions for company formations and constitutional upgrade forms in addition to trust establishment and maintenance forms

In accordance with the latest ATO changes, the ATO template for the following documents have been updated to the latest version:

• • Trustee Consent and Member Application
  • SMSF Change of Trustee
  • SMSF Member Exit

Fixes and Enhancements

Documentation Suite

• • E-signing has been repaired for the NSW Land Tax Unit Trust and Redemption of Units documents
  • To minimise registration rejections when registering a Public Company Limited by Guarantee, the ‘Member Guarantee ($)’ field has been moved from the ‘Members’ tab to the ‘Company Details’ tab
  • A preview PDF can now be downloaded to check the details added to the interview form when preparing a Public Company Limited by Shares document
  • Error message is no longer displayed when lodging a Cessation of a Secretary who is also a director using the Form 484E (Extended) and 484B12 (Appointment and Resignation of Officers)
  • The variation clause in the SMSF Deed of Variation interview form is now optional as there is no reference to the clause in the deed. A warning message is also now displayed for reference. Click here for more information.

• • Companies within a pinned tab can now be searched

Super Comply

• • Pins can now be applied after assigning to all funds
  • The fund’s SMSF Manager can now be saved
  • Validation has been applied to the Director ID field to ensure accuracy of records
  • After e-signing is complete, the member status is updated in the fund profile
  • The address is now required to save trustee details
  • Ability to edit and add multiple trustee/member details in the interview forms
  • Increased validation requirements when marking documents as signed from the fund profile ensuring signing cannot occur if the date is before establishment
  • Fund profile PDFs can now be easily downloaded from the Funds page
