Documentation Suite

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality legal documents and expanding our legal capabilities to meet the demands of our fast-growing client base, we have made further updates to the following documents:

• Execution Signature Block
  • Where documents are executed by a corporate entity the execution signature block has been updated

• Trust Distribution Resolution
  
  • Document has been reviewed by DGF Morgan & Associates and enhanced to cater to different trustee structures, i.e.;

                   - In the case of corporate trustee, resolution/minutes would be offered according to the                               number of directors in the company e.g., resolution for sole director and minutes for                                   multiple directors

                   - In case of individual trustee(s) separate resolutions would be produced

• Corporate Shareholder Secretary
  • It is no longer mandatory to input a secretary as one of the executors of a document in the case of a sole director company.

• Update the following documents to comply with recent changes to the NSW Duties Act
  • Vesting of Unit Trust
  • Vesting of Discretionary Trust

What this means for you:

Any document that has been ordered prior to the new updates continues to be fully valid. There are no requirements  for your previous orders to be reviewed or renewed. Going forward, you can order the new versions of these legal documents in the similar manner and continue to service your clients with efficiency and confidence.

General Enhancements

• Resolution by specific directors' option is removed from the interview forms as resolutions need to be signed by all the directors of the company.
• The "Form Only" option has been hidden for Form 484C3 and Form 484E for public companies
• New help icon added to menu bar and changes to main menu with "Training and Tech" and "Help" now included under the one heading.

Bug Fixes

• All forms now allow the user to proceed when appointing a public company as a corporate shareholder or corporate trustee
• Company name now allows for + symbol in the Form 484 forms
• All directors now have separate areas to sign for the Change of Trustee document
• Only companies with the "Not found in XPM" pin appear in the "Not Found in XPM" filter
• Company timeline repaired for manually created events 
• Billing contact checkbox now remains checked after editing on the Annual Statement page
• Rejection reason now captured in the email template when a client rejects the e-signing
