E-signing email reminders being sent to old email after Signing Contact updated

I have updated the Signing Contact email address. Why are electronic signing (e-signing) email reminders still sending to the old email?

Answer

When sending documents for e-signing, NowInfinity will save the original email used to send the documents.

If there is a change in the email address regardless if it was done via signing contact or e-signing notification being resent using a different address via collaboration page, the NowInfinity system won't change the email address.

It will use the original email address used when the documents were sent for e-signing as the e-signing envelope retains the original email used.

If the email address for the e-signing reminders needs to be changed it is recommended to void and then resend.
