How to reset ASIC EDGE password

How can I reset my EDGE password?

Answer

To reset your ASIC EDGE password:

  1. Ensure all users are logged out of the NowInfinity software
  2. Contact ASIC on 1300 300 630 or use their online chat service https://webchat.asic.gov.au/webchat/home/create?skillset=113.
  3. Request password reset

Once ASIC have reset your EDGE password:

  1. Wait 10-15 minutes
  2. Enter your new password into the Product Settings > ASIC Parameters section of your platform and Click Save.  (It will take another 10-15 minutes to complete the connection, unless there are ASIC delays.)

Once connected, there will be 2 options to check successful connection.

a. The ASIC connection symbol color will change. Green or Yellow indicates the connection is successful.

b. Password entered will automatically change to a different one as ASIC will issue a different password automatically for security purposes.
