Authorised Person to sign for Occupier's Consent within Standard Company Registration documents

Question

Who is the Authorised Person to sign for the Occupier's Consent within Standard Company Registration documents?

Answer

The Standard Company document does not assume the "Occupier" is an Individual. Most commonly, the Occupier is a business entity such as the ASIC agent's firm.

As only an Individual can physically sign, the form requests the "Authorised person for [Occupier]", it does not know the specific relation between who is consenting and the occupier.

The person that was entered as the Occupier, is expected to sign as the Authorised Person.
