Available actions

The following actions are accessible from Menu > Corporate Messenger > Companies > Director ID Actions

• Export to Excel - Director ID
• Bulk Import - Director ID
• Director ID Notifications
• Bulk Director Data Update

Export to Excel - Director ID

This feature will allow you to download a report that shows all Directors that do not have a Director ID within the Companies under your Corporate Messenger.

Bulk Import - Director ID

This feature will allow you to bulk import Director IDs to multiple Companies at once. 

1. Navigate to Menu > Corporate Messenger > Companies > Director ID Actions > Bulk Import - Director ID
   
2. Select "Download Template" to download the import spreadsheet to your desktop.
   
3. Enter the details under each of the required fields, including the Director ID and save the updated spreadsheet.
   Note: All fields marked Required must be completed
   
4. Navigate to Menu > Corporate Messenger > Companies > Director ID Actions > Bulk Import - Director ID > Select "Upload a File".
   
5. Upload the completed spreadsheet. This will run an import and save the Director ID for all Companies within the spreadsheet.
   Note: If the upload failed you will be able to download a file with the errors annotated. 
   
   

Director ID Notifications

This feature allows you to send email notifications to Directors missing Director IDs in bulk.

You can update the email template from Menu > Corporate Messenger > Product Settings > Email Settings > select "Director ID Number Notification", by following Customising Email Templates.

1. Select either:
   • All Companies: Menu > Corporate Messenger > Companies > Director ID Actions > Director ID Notifications
   • Specific Companies: Menu > Corporate Messenger > Companies > tick the relevant Company/s >Director ID Actions > Director ID Notifications
     
2. Enter/review the email address to send each notification against each recipient.
   Note:
   • Selecting "Save" is optional
   • Selecting "Save" will update the email address recorded within the Company Profile
3. Select "Send notifications"
   

Bulk Director Data Update

This feature allows you to update the Director ID for a Director of multiple Companies at once, reducing the time taken to update individually.

1. Select Menu > Corporate Messenger > Companies > Director ID Actions > Bulk Director Data Update
   Note:
   • It is advised to select the tick next to each Company you wish updated. Alternatively you can make use of the search functionality within the Companies List to search by the Director's name.
   • All Directors of selected Companies will appear
2. Enter the data to update into the relevant fields. The email and phone fields are optional.
   
3. For any Director listed that is not being updated either:
   • Select the blue cross, or
   • ensure all fields are blank
4. Select "Save Changes"
   
5. Select "Confirm"
   
6. Confirmation will be provided and the updates can be viewed from the Company Profile.
