I have a new ASIC Agent Number and ASIC EDGE credentials, how do I add these to NowInfinity, and transfer Companies to my new Agent Number?
Answer
When ASIC Agent details are updated or created, two scenarios can occur. The following information outlines the procedures relevant to each circumstance.
Form 362 Not Required
For ASIC Agents whose Companies are already under their agent list within ASIC a Form 362 will not be required. To bring the Companies into Corporate Messenger follow the below steps:
- Navigate to Menu > Corporate Messenger > Product Settings > ASIC Parameters
- Enter your updated ASIC Agent Number and ASIC Edge Credentials
- Refresh Company List per How to refresh your Company List
Note: If the Company List fails to refresh, review the Service Centre Page, if the connection attempts after refreshing the Company List show a D01 or D03 error, a password reset may be required per How can I reset an EDGE password?
Form 362 Required
Additional steps are required to move Companies to the new ASIC Agent number via Form 362's within NowInfinity:
- Navigate to Menu > Bundle Agent Appointment and download the template:
- Complete the template by adding the Companies you wish to transfer to your new ASIC Agent Number, and Save file.
- Navigate to Menu > Product Settings > ASIC Parameters and enter your new ASIC Agent Number and ASIC EDGE Credentials. If your agent name has also changed, you can also enter this information into the relevant field. Once all details have been entered, click Save.
- After entering your new details in the Product Settings, go to Menu > Companies > Actions > Refresh my list of Companies. This will clear all of the Companies from your list, which may take some time to process:
- Once the Companies list is blank, go back to Menu > Bundle Agent Appointment and upload the saved Companies list template:
- Once the template has been uploaded successfully, the 362 forms will be available under Menu > Lodgements > Incomplete, ready to be signed and lodged to ASIC.
Notes:
Once the new ASIC Agent Number is entered and the 362 forms have been lodged to ASIC:
- All pins previously created and assigned to Companies will be reinstated
- ASIC forms in Draft will be reinstated
- ASIC forms in Waiting for Signature status, will be reinstated.
Note: The previous ASIC Agent Number will still display on the previously generated forms. To update the document to the new ASIC Agent Number either select Amend the Document (then re-complete the form), or start a new form - All unsigned/incomplete e-signing envelopes will not be voided, but the document within the signing envelope will still display the prior ASIC Agent Number.
Note: To update ASIC Agent Number, per note 3, first void the signing envelope. - Draft and Sent Reminders (signing and payment) will be reinstated
- Annual Statements will be reinstated from the 'Archived' view
- All completed e-signing envelopes will be reinstated
- The previously lodged ASIC forms will be uploaded in the Company's Timeline and will not be available in the Lodgements page
- As long as the same NowInfinity Account is used between the old and new ASIC Agent Number, the details available for the shareholder(s) will remain in the Company Profile.
- Companies in deregistering or external administration status will remain in its current account until it is deregistered
