Question
When completing a trust document or registering a company, how do I date the deed/constitution?
Answer
The applicable documents will be dated automatically via DocuSign once the document is executed. This is enabled by sequential signing being enforced within applicable documents.
The designated final signatory will receive their signing envelope only once all other parties have signed. The dating of the documents will be based on the final signatory's signing date.
For company registrations, the designated signatory is the first shareholder (or first director of the corporate shareholder) listed within the interview form.
For non-corporate establishment, the designated signatory is the first individual trustee (or first director of the corporate trustee) listed within the interview form of the document.
