What does this mean for me today?

Nothing changes today. For the immediate future, things will continue as they are. You will continue to have access to Topdocs and deal directly with Topdocs customer support.  

For now, you are not required to do anything following this announcement.   

Keep a look out for further updates over the next fortnight.  We encourage you to read the updates so you can make the most of the opportunity this acquisition creates for you and your business. 

Can I still use the Topdocs platform?

Absolutely. It’s business as usual.  

You will receive more information from Class regarding NowInfinity over the coming weeks to ensure you make the most of the opportunities this acquisition creates for you and your business. 

Can I still use my partner integrations?

Nothing is changing today, it’s business as usual. For the immediate future, things will continue as they are, and you will continue to have your same access to existing partner integrations. 

Who is Class? 

Class is Australia’s pioneer in cloud-based wealth accounting. They launched Australia’s first cloud-based SMSF administration solution, Class Super.   

Today, Class is listed on the ASX, with solutions including Class Trust, the industry’s first trust accounting solution, as well as Class Portfolio, an investment portfolio management solution. Class has also expanded into legal documentation and corporate compliance with the award-winning, NowInfinity.  

At present, more than 6,400 accounting practices, administrators and financial advisers depend on Class to drive business automation, increase profitability and help deliver better client outcomes.

Why did Class acquire Topdocs? 

The Topdocs business aligns perfectly with Class.   

Over the past 18 months, Class has made several acquisitions in the document management space, purchasing NowInfinity, Smartcorp and Reckon Docs. The onboarding of Topdocs into NowInfinity will accelerate the role Class will play in the documentation and corporate compliance space.  

This is a very exciting acquisition as the Topdocs and NowInfinity platforms are very well aligned.  There is a very strong fit with Class not only culturally, but also in the products and solutions offered.  

What are the benefits to me as a Topdocs client? 

There is a very strong fit between Topdocs and Class’s NowInfinity product offering and client base. Customers will now have access to a broader document suite, an inhouse and more extensive corporate compliance product, as well as the flexibility to choose between the existing Pay As You Go (PAYG) offer or a fixed subscription, which may be better suited for high volume users.  

Specifically, you will have access to NowInfinity’s broader services platform, which includes: 

  • 70+ documents in the documentation suite 
  • Corporate Messenger to manage your companies  
  • Extensive integrations with other business partners, and
  • Electronic Signatures and text message reminders included in all pricing  

In addition, you’ll benefit by being serviced by a large ASX listed company which invests heavily in technology, marketing and innovation. 

Who will I contact if I have any questions?  Will my support services change? 

Importantly, the Customer Service team you already know, will not change.    

The same team members will continue to answer your questions and can provide you with any additional information you require.  

Will there be pricing changes? 

Nothing changes today. For the immediate future, things will continue as they are. You will continue to have access to Topdocs and the Customer Service team you are accustomed to.   

We are working through options to ensure the best customer experience and expect to communicate the approach to customer in the coming weeks. 

Who can I contact if I have any queries? Will my support services change?

Importantly the Customer Service team that you already know, will not change.   

The same team members will continue to answer your questions and can provide you with any additional information you require.

Where is Class and NowInfinity support located? 

The Class Customer Service teams are all based locally and offer high levels of customer care.  

The NowInfinity Customer Service team is based in Bundall, Queensland (Gold Coast) and the Class Customer Service team is based in Sydney.   

Both teams are regarded as some of the best in the industry and can be reached by email, phone and online chat (within the Class and NowInfinity platforms).

Can I still use my partner integrations (including BGL)? 

Nothing is changing today, it’s business as usual. For the immediate future, things will continue as they are, and you will continue to have your same access to existing partner integrations. 

Please note that BGL recently released a statement that effective 31 August 2021, API integration between CAS 360, Simple Fund 360 and Simple Invest 360 and Topdocs will cease. 

Will my customer information and relevant data be transferred to Class? 

Yes, this will ensure Class can identify the ways in which they can improve your overall customer experience and maintain high levels of service.  

We are working through options to ensure a smooth transition as we bring the Topdocs and NowInfinity platforms together.  We expect to communicate the approach to customers shortly. 

Will my login details change? 

Nothing changes today, including your login details.  It’s business as usual.

Will Topdocs still be available going forward or is the plan to migrate clients to the NowInfinity platform? 

We are working through options and expect to communicate the approach to customers shortly. 

What happens to Topdocs legal? 

Topdocs Legal will continue to operate as a standalone business. There will be no disruption to the Topdocs Legal services provided during the transition of Topdocs to Class.  

Can I opt-out of the migration to NowInfinity?  

Yes - both teams are working through options and expect to communicate the approach to customers shortly.  

Can I move to NowInfinity now? 

Yes - our Customer Service team can take your details and pass them across to the Account Management team at Class and have someone contact you in the coming days.   

Can I see samples of the documents?

Sample documents for our most used products can be found within the Documentation Suite of NowInfinity. Once the migration occurs you will have access to the NowInfinity portal and documentation as required. In the meantime, if you would like a copy of a specific template you can contact the NowInfinity Customer Service team via email on support@nowinfinity.com.au or phone on 1300 851 057 (option 3).

Can I have a trial of NowInfinity?  

Unfortunately we don’t offer document trials although welcome you to attend our weekly live webinars run every Tuesday (Corporate Messenger) and Wednesday (Documentation Suite and Trust Register): https://www.nowinfinity.com.au/webinars

Do I need to pay for a subscription at NowInfinity?  

Our Documentation Suite is available to you on a Pay as You Go (PAYG) basis and there is no requirement to pay a subscription fee.  

There are also optional subscription packages which may be better suited for high volume users. 

I am already a NowInfinity user, what does this mean for me? 

It's still business as usual for you and you can continue to use both Topdocs and NowInfinity.   

We are working through options to ensure a smooth transition as we bring the Topdocs and NowInfinity platforms together.  We expect to communicate the approach to customers shortly.
