There are 2 messages which may display when there is a Red ASIC connection icon:
Connection Down: “Your ASIC EDGE account is locked, Please contact 1300 300 630 to unlock it"
This is when the EDGE password saved is no longer current, or if the account gets locked due to the EDGE password being incorrect. If this is the case, follow the steps in this article to have ASIC reset this password.
Connection Down: “The connection with ASIC is currently down. Please do not lodge any documents until the connection with ASIC has been restored"
This can mean that there is an overload on the ASIC servers, and that lodgements may be delayed. Click on the ASIC symbol in the top right corner of the page. This will open a drop down that will show the most current connections to the ASIC Server. If this shows that majority/all of the connection attempts have Failed, click on the blue "Check" button and this will order a refresh of the connection.
Note: This refresh can take up to 15 minutes. It is also recommended not to refresh the connection more than 5 times within a 30 minute timeframe as this can cause the EDGE connection to become blocked.
Once the refresh has been completed the ASIC symbol should either show as Amber or Green, which means that the connection is Unstable/Stable and lodgments will go through as per normal. If it continues to show Red, contact the NowInfinity Support team to check the connection:
