Question
How can the witness(es) of SMSF and Trust documents e-sign the relevant document?
Answer
Note: e-signing for SMSF documents is only available if the jurisdiction is QLD
Note: The signatory and the witness(es) should both be present at the time of signing, as there will be no separate e-signature link provided to the witness.
When sending the documents for signing, the signatory will receive an email with the e-signing link.
Once the signatory has signed the document, the system will instruct to pass the controls over to the witness(es) for signing.
The witness can now enter their name in the box and start signing by clicking on the "Sign documents" button.
